I've never understood that argument myself. Just because a team performs badly or as in those two teams, not as well as expected, it doesn't mean that individuals players are no good. There are plenty of good hard-working talented players at both those clubs, it just hasn't worked as well as it should for probably numerous reasons we don't know about.
We only just avoided relegation yet I can't see many teams turning down Fifita, Johnstone, Taganoa or Tupou, can you?
