Thats how i read it too, the likes of Hampshire, Pauli, Hirst, Kirmond with possibly Randell, Annakin? maybe England? maybe Brough? Haven't Reynolds and Baldwinson already gone too?
In terms of incomings it seems as though Alex Walker, Joe Westerman and Jay Pitts are done (please dont shoot me down MC just going on journo talk) add to that the possibility of Chris Green and Adam Tangata?
We could be looking at a very different set of forwards to the one we started this season with! Interesting times ahead!

Brough signed a 2 year deal.
I agree, we need a freshen up I think. In some areas I believe we could get far better value for the limited money we spend mainly the likes of PP.
The downside is that going into this season (And probably the season previous), for the first time in a long time I believed that we had a good settled squad that could compete with any team, with only the few quality additions and for the previous 4 or 5 years we have had a big turn around. I just hope we don`t rebuild the team, then take half a season to "Gel" as the excuse is often given for a team looking like they do not have a clue, in the current structure we cannot afford that slow start.

Will be informative to see, with three games to go and still in a relegation battle, what sort of response that approach gets from the players. I would suggest that it would also be prudent not to talk about next season until we know the outcome of the relegation battle. It is always useful to compare how other teams have responded, Wigan for example had a very poor start to this season, to rectify this they employed Matty Peet to sort out their defense and revamped their fitness team bringing in new staff. The response from Leeds to a similar poor start is well documented. If we manage to avoid the drop my priority would be to refresh the coaching and fitness team. We need a serious specialist defense coach, and we need a fitness team who can make us the fittest team in the league, in a perfect world ( I know that beggars cant be choosers ) I would also like to see some sort of director of Rugby, a John Kear type who can see the wood through the trees, who takes the emotion out of the situation. At the moment we have a young head coach who has no one to advise him, to guide him. Its a massive job to manage 30 plus young men, to keep them happy to get the best out of them. In order for Trinity to maximize our potential we need, as a given, as a must, as the basic starting point to be the fittest and the most enthusiastic team in the League. In order to do this then I would suggest that it is perhaps the coaching and fitness staff that need freshening up in the close season.'"
Don`t see the issue. The players that are leaving at the end of the season have already been told that they are not getting a deal, it would be morally wrong of the club not to, and is a requirement set out by the RFL - The majority of the players that wont be here next season are already not featuring in the team and of the ones that are; I just cant see Kirmond giving any less than 100% and the Hampshire saga has been going on for months and he has looked like the only player interested on the pitch at times.
Also, you cant use John Kear as a reference then allude to taking the emotion out of the situation - If you are looking for that type of character in that position you would probably go for the opposite of Kear, the bloke plays on emotions and goes through it all with the players on the field although I would welcome him back to the club with open arms, I think he was brilliant for the club and brilliant for Chester.
We need a quality assistant, from what I hear Michael Monaghan was just that.

Belly seems to have an issue with Chester and feels he knows better. He might, he should apply for the job should it become vacant.
I'm still not totally convinced that CC is the future but I think he's handled himself quite well over a difficult period so I don't see this poster's constant need to attack his integrity.
I can't see anywhere where he has attacked the team. Ditto the JK stuff, I remember this poster constantly criticising JK when he was last here yet now he and Watson are the men with the answers apparently. Odd, the grass is always greener it would appear.
Again its all about opinions where CC is concerned but I do feel he deserves more respect for what he's achieved than being accused of petty behaviour and rank stupidity.

I will be the first to openly admit I have been massively frustrated with the teams performances this season, and in the heat of the moment at times I have probably outed Chester for that... What I think is probably easy for a lot of people to forget in times like these is he has had 2 and a half brilliant seasons prior to this, I think he has probably earned us to cut him some slack for half a poor season, especially given the disruption that the squad as a whole has faced this season.
Watson has done a good job at Salford, could probably be in the running for coach of the year - But I don`t get the whole limited resources thing if I am honest. The bloke has a talented bunch of players to pick from, more so than some other clubs in the league, the likes of Hastings, Evalds, Lussick would walk into most SL teams yet nonne seems to recognise this?

Yes he has done a good if not great job with Salford, homme and yes he has some cracking players to work with that have worked well as a team all season, but, I will judge him after next season because the word is not would as some of these good players are moving on to other SL clubs.
