| TT - you've obviously not seen us play recently !!
Have to agree with the OP in regard to selection of both RH & MJ. I'm also minded to give Woody a go in the halves ... at least for the games leading up to the Hull fixture.

| Quote: homme vaste "I am not in the know regarding contract terms offered to players (Other than the fact RH has been offered a 3 year deal) but what I do know is that I trust the people running the club to get things right in that department. MC seems to think that they have offered a fair contract and that his management have mulled over it.
I remember when he signed for this year, and in the press release he said, I have only signed a one-year deal again, I want to chase those big contracts which is fair enough, you cannot blame the lad. But you also can not blame the club for not paying over what they think he is worth. Sometimes you just cannot come to an agreement in these situations.'"
Hampshire's problem is that he is here to play at half back and he has been unable to dislodge Danny Brough who, this season, has served up the worst rugby of his life. If Hampshire wants a big contract then he has to show himself as being capable of dislodging Brough and forcing Chester's hand. He's had plenty of chances.

As for Brough he’s been a good one but he’s playing behind our pack and his legs have gone and by the way they were 3rd with Ryan and Reynolds at half back

| Quote: homme vaste "Agree with the forwards comment, another point is it is so frustrating seeing our wingers and centres taking the first 2 or 3 drives in a set, every set, especially when we are struggling to make yards. I get that they do it to give the forwards a rest, but they do it every set! The forwards aren`t even doing any work! Seems to have become a trend in Super League in the last 5 years, anyone who has watched the NRL over the last 10 years can see where some of the coaches took it from... Yet they use it wisely and when it is needed. How many times are we going to decide when we are pinned on our our try line, getting pushed back by 3 or 4 players that is a good idea to give MCB or BJB the ball? Get Koppy on it, he doesn't take a backwards step.'"
Don’t you get sick of this big minutes crap as well, I want my best players on field if they can only last 20 get fitter and take some personal pride in yourself

I don't disagree with any of that but nonetheless, Hampshire is a half back and needs to command that position. If he can't do it at this club, where can he do it at Super League level.

He needs to be selected there first. If the coach keeps playing him at fullback...
