| Very poor we made leeds look good. We need to take a long hard look at ourselves. To get nilled at home is not good enough.

| Quote Shifty Cat="Shifty Cat"Not through lack of trying, we just couldn't find that final pass to score when we should have done multiple times, another day we could have scored 3 or 4 but not to be especially in that weather. Just didn't play the right game for the condition at times. Leeds just kept their defense reasonably strong and took the points on offer. ateotd we gave them all their points, an intercept full length try and 2 penalties.
Tanginoa looks a great signing on a positive point.'"
I don't disagree with any of this. But what has really got under my skin is it was abundantly clear that the strategy wasn't working. We should have binned the expansive rugby and camped out on thier try line seeking repeat sets. In my opinion if John Kear is still assisting Chezzy we win that game tonight.

| It was worse than not finding the last pass though. We made really poor decisions.
When BJB was in touch he could have dived and make it easy but even before that, at the scrum Brisco was the only player on the left and being treated but we went right.
When Tanginoa broke free Hampshire nerds to put a space between him and the ball to give him a pass but he went close and gave the full back an option.
Passes to Sau when they just weren't on.
It goes on and on.

Taninoa looks full of endeavour but without an end product, other than telegraphing that intercept. He should've dummies the line was clear. Early days for him though.
I think the players think Pauli is still with us with the number of crash balls near the line, sadly there is nobody in the current squad who can make that pay off.

| I see Pauli Pauli scored two more trys today I bet Salford are gutted to have him for another month. I know BLM has a vested interest in him not coming back next season but currently I see no forward making a dent in the defensive line other than our new signing.
I am sorry but I do not get the loan extension, I could be missing something in the nuances of his performance.

| Tanginoa must be pulling his hair or cos every time he goes into the tackle he’s always looking to offload and NO ONE IS THERE. AGAIN. WHY DID Chester bring him over if you’re not going to use his strengths.

Two defeats at London, and now the home defeats to Leedsand Hull KR, were looking over our shoulder[u, we could be in for a relegation battle.

Again, only Broughie and Wood who posed any real threat on the pivots'"
Really? I know a loss is crap and we haven't played well that past few games but even taking that into consideration London would have to win more than they have all season and us to not win another to over take considering their PD. Even hull KR would have to win another 4 to over take and us no more.

At this stage he's doing really well for me and better than the other backrowers, big carries that bend the defensive line, plenty of minutes, can tackle and is a constant offload threat. Not sure what you're on about with the end product comment tbh. Criticizing him for not dummying is hindsight imo it was just a poor pass, plus I thought his support runbner was too flat and bit close and credit to the Leeds player for not committing himself to the tackle.
fifita would have caused havoc near the line if he played but for me all it needed was players coming back on the angle at pace, or a set move.

| Worst performance of the last 3 seasons, that. A total embarrassment. No urgency, no idea from one pass to the next, clueless in attack, then when we do break through for a certain try, we pass it to their full back to go the length of the field. Tanginoa should rightly be having nightmares about that tonight! What on earth was he playing at?
Also disappointed with going for the 2 at only 0-4 down. Leeds were desperate for the points, not us. Going for 2 was just plain bizarre with all the possession we were having, especially missing it!
We also need to learn how to play without Fifita. It's so obvious he's missing, it's untrue.

Granted Hampshire didn't help at all. But I was right behind that play and could see exactly what was going to happen. Lohohea(sp) could too that why he stood to the side of him rather than in front to make the tackle.
I imagine he will get better, it's just a shame he's come in when the team are in poor form.
As an aside I do hate contract renewal time, too many players seem flat as though they're on their way out if the club and are struggling to get up for the game. We were second best again on enthusiasm and effort, as we have been for the past five or so games.
