Quote: Wollo-Wollo-Wollo-Wayoo "What happens during a Wembley final is really miniscule compared to actually getting there, especially for a club like Wakefield. Soft games up to the final are ideal. A Wembley visit could be a once in a lifetime event for fans, players and the "club".
There is nothing advantageous about meeting Saints away at this stage. We've got them and that's it but lets not try to paint it as some preferred option.
Imagine before the draw was made. "Do you want Saints away next or meet them in the final?"'"
Or would you rather meet Saints or Halifax in the final. I know which I'd go for
IF (and it's a huge if) we could get to Wembley, we would have a better chance of victory against another club who aren't experienced in major finals.
Although Leeds are in all sorts of trouble at present, there is no doubt that they "know" how to win finals and they, or clubs like them, would have a massive advantage on the big stage.
Conversely, Halifax, KR or Bradford, wouldn't have that particular advantage.
Of course, we would have all preferred Halifax at home in the next round, as would Saints but, we are where we are and lets enjoy the game. After all, victory would make things really exciting, especially with a Championship club still in the comp. Mind you, we'd probably draw Wire in the semis
