| Quote captaincaveman="captaincaveman"Always liked Ryan Atkins. Very good and honest player and came across as a really nice guy as well. With the amount and severity of injuries we have and still a lot of the season left to play he would be a great addition for us.
No idea if it will happen but i for one would be very happy to see him back in RWB.'"
Agree with that, remember him giving up his time to hand out awards at a local sports club and enjoying the occasion. I think he also signed a long contract with us so that the club got some benefit from any move as well. For a short time him and Luke George (what happened to him?) were a pretty potent combination.

Luke George got pretty capable just in time to go back to Shudds. We did manage to get the best Widow Ty performance out of him though before he left.

Luke George moved to Australia and played for Northern Pride in Cairns when JD was coach. He worked as a personal trainer and last I'd seen he was playing for Central Queensland Capras in Rockhampton.

| If you sign Atkins then you'll have to get some ball boys outside of the stadium to pick up his wayward try scoring passes that he sends over the roof

| Interesting, wires post board have Ryan looking for a/at houses in yorkshire, has made no secret of retiring at the end of this season ! Short term playing time this season. They say he has been excellent except his brain farts & way wood passing.
Passing was never his best side of his play but he is a strong player !

Not an issue as most of our centres are not great passers. In fact Bill and Reece rarely do, only Arundel bothers. I know you’re having a bit of fun but most of our wingers tries come from kicks and cut out balls.

It's a strange one that because when he played for us that was the last thing on his mind, passing to his winger.

| One thing is for certain - if he signs for us, a significant number of Wire fans will immediately brand him as rubbish; it's a RL phenomenon, that when a player changes jerseys, he loses all of his skills and attributes and we are glad to see the back of them.

| Don’t agree with this. He’s been a good servant to Wolves and other clubs and the game as a whole. Might be a small section but your statement suggests most supporters are eager to bag players leaving. If he was doing the dirty and leaving to a club where while he was still at his peak you may have had a point.

| If he does re-sign with us, I wonder if he will get a better unveiling than the first time he signed all that time ago - when Steve Ferres introduced him in front of what was basically an angry mob after another loss
