What would a Cockney know about rugby league?:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_73558.jpeg

3 of us going down and attempting to convert a couple of locals if I can get them to leave South London. Ticket sales from our end reflect a real good feeling at the club currently

Coach made a big mistake with the team selection, putting Crowther & Batchelor in the seventeen, which meant that we had a light pack. Crowther lost the ball on a number of occasions with the impact of being tackled. Three of Londons tries came from two yards out as a result of bad tackling. Five of the other tries came from the same move of passing the ball at speed from one side of the field to the other, with runners making extra men as the ball went along. We lacked ability to stop this move on the field & yet we had coaches watching in the stands, who did nothing about it! The five tries scored by London in the second half, all came from Wakefield's inability to keep hold of the ball, in our twenty-five, followed by shocking tackling. When we had the ball in their half we moved the ball to the middle of the field, then one of our forward's, instead of keeping the passing movement going, decided to run straight, consequently being tackled & stopping the flow of the attack!! This happened five times in the second half, when we were in their twenty-five. Was this down to the coaching team? I think myself that the coaching staff, are not up to taking the team any further. I know we finished 5th last year, but if it had been the previous year with those points, we would have been near the bottom 8.

Looking at your analysis of the game not only did the team take the opposition lightly, but by the team selection so did the coaching staff.

Calm Waters don't make good sailors If you help somebody as you go along then your life hasn't been in vain:

Id highly recommend getting Trinity TV and you could analyse it yourself. Not a dig by the way, it's great value and you'd get to make personal observations. I'd recommend to anyone.
Coach obviously has responsibility and didn't take opposition lightly, but players have to have personal responsibility too.

The team selection is not an excuse. We had the armoury to go down to London and get the result.

Seems the mindset of the players was the issue.

Let’s not throw the teddy out of the pram yet, no better way to test the players than Saints.

Roll on Sunday

Best value £4.99 I spend a month ,but won’t be watching the full game as have seen the tries from London on the super league show and we’re hard to stomach to be honest .
