As someone who is no longer in the loop I tend to take more notice of what isn’t said rather than what is. Whilst the club and the trust remain quiet and are not asking for cash then I have to assume something is still going on. What I don’t know but if all hope was lost then I see no reason why we wouldn’t be taking the the last option by now and perusing them through the Courts.

Have heard rumours from 2 different sources over last week or two that there would be good news regarding the ground and it would involve developing Belle Vue. But hey we have so many false dawns.

I’m just miffed the guy has gone on record again raising people’s hopes. If there’s nowt happening keep it shut. I simply can’t believe a word the blokes says, however as with all of us, I’m happy on this occasion to be proven wrong. I’m just not holding my breath!

Call me cynical: but if he's still spouting lies and excuses then following it up with vague promises of 'good news' I wouldn't hold my breath. I imagine this good news will be no more than another unrealistic proposal to drag this out even longer then blame the club for being unreasonable - again. And if it is another proposal to do up Belle Vue, IMO that's nothing but another red herring to get us off the Newmarket scent while York Court continue to gobble up the land.

No, I don't go with the redevelopment of Belle Vue thing either, its a bit too restrictive, its not the site you'd choose if you were starting from scratch.
Having said that, if its a choice between Belle Vue + a fair crack at income streams other than match days VS Newmarket and in hock, lock stock and barrel to a 3rd party, I'll take Belle Vue.

With where we are right now, I'd take a re-develloped BV all day long but, I dont trust Box and co on little bit.
How many times can they get away with the same delaying/non event tactics.

I just with that they (WMDC) would put as much effort into getting the thing moving as they do in thinking up crap to just delay, delay, delay.

Me neither that’s more wishful thinking. It too late for BV and I can’t see any scenario where that might happen but then this is WMDC so anything is possible with the least sensible option ending up the winner - see Sun lane bath.
