A "lefty"???? She doesn't know the meaning of the word. She's about as leftist as Ghengis Khan. I live in Wakefield but am more that glad That Jon Trickett is my MP and not her. She's no interest in Trinity or a community stadium whatsoever.

I also don't rate her. She is like most current Labour MP's who think life outside the London Boroughs doesn't count.


However getting back to Trickett. You can slang Creagh ( and rightly so) but she knows more about our stadium situation than that individual. I would be extremely surprised if he puts in an objection. The guy only has one agenda and that is himself.

Agree to a point, Prince. I'm particularly disappointed at Trickett's somewhat disinterest considering that Belle Vue is in his constituency. I did email him some time ago and he stated that he would back the community stadium, but I think it was just lip service.

Both Antony Calvert and Nadeem Ahmed were at the awards night last night, and there were a couple if tweets sent mentioning the stadium.

Here is what was in one of those tweets.
