I do feel like this is your best squad you've had for a very long time. Maybe not your best 13 but certainly your best all round squad in terms of quality in depth for all positions.

20 rounds in and for me if you asked Chester what his best team was, he probably doesn't know.

You're squad is far stronger than Leeds, Huddersfield and catalan in my opinion.... A first round loss in the cup and finishing in the middle eights would be a failure I'm sure you'd agree, when most (certainly myself) thought you'd be competing for a top four place again this year.

Really didn't envisage you being in this position at any point.

But get a win tonight and all the pressure is relieved and you can hopefully enjoy the last 8 or 9 games from your side.

The benefit is Chester can use them to get his combinations right.

I personally don't think he should go, I'd give him another season. Realistically you're not in any danger and are still developing. I'm not certain he's the man to push Wakefield into being perennial competitors at the top end, but I do think he hasn't fulfilled his potential just yet

Unfortunately the days of 'easy games' are long gone! There are no easy games nowadays every team is capable of a win against any other on the day.

leeds play the 2 bottoms sides - do you think those teams would want leeds or wakey in the bottom 8???? I know who I would want.

Imo Wakey haven't moved on since Kear did.
I think JK knew without extra investment, he'd took Wakey as far as he could.
