I would never walk away.Why would I after 60 years supporting ?Yeah MC is doing a great job , but I have seen so many chairmen in my life . He is the present custodian.The club is the people who support through thick and thin, and would ' bleed red, white n blue'.

It would be hard to walk away from the club I love it as much as any body but it's the fear of what those who seek to take it over would do to it and what they put it through in the past i for one couldn't stand to go through it all again.

I was trusted to work in the corner Slugger which at Dec I had to close and at no time have any information of the future of BV I was given encouragement but I could see the frustrations at every time the was pause in the project, one of the reasons why I chose to close was the uncertainty.
this never ending saga of tweets from manni, council feeds to the press, Rodders and his little merry team set up are just waiting in the back ground stinks.
Limited may not have the same take over bid as a PLC but you do experience pressures of competition which makes you either compete or fail, our pressures is applied through stadium standards ie RFL and being rejected from SL, that vicious circle of spending money on something we don't own and keeping the club afloat how long could this keep going |

Out of all the parties involved in the ground debacle, there is one we should be able to turn to, to provide accurate information, guidance and perhaps even help. WMDC.
In my book they have been completely devoid of anything. They have allowed this situation to get to where it is, and if BV doesn't get developed, after they allowed Newmarket to go down the Swannee, they should be brought to task for it.
It's absolutely disgraceful the way the club, and the Wakefield public (not just WT supporters) have been lied to, cheated and deceived, by some people who are lucky not to be facing legal proceedings in my book. |
