Nah I don't either but could be just a mistake tbh.

I'd have Hampshire cover hooker (could even bring in Hiddlestone? who played in the reserve game the other day who played well) and maybe start Annakin or Batchelor in the back row and maybe stick Horo on the bench. Give Arundel a game in the instead of Lyne.

Not too sure why your shocked at him putting Ashurst at hooker, he's very competent there and has played there a few times for us a few seasons back.

Apparently Crowther might be an option at 9 as well.

Personally, I can't remember him playing there but if he has I wouldn't move my best second row there when we know Hampshire can do a decent job at hooker.

We're obviously forced into a few player changes down to injury but imo I wouldn't be making too many above what we already have to do, just the odd change here and there may be if CC wants to rest or try other players.

next week at wigan will not be a must a win.

Personally I think we need play as many players as possible in their correct position with any changes as minimal as possible. Finn/Hampshire to cover rather than Ashusrt to hooker, Arundel to second row and MCB to centre. No need for a big move around.

Arundel to the second row? when we have a fair number waiting to play. Especially as you say we need players playing in their correct positions

This the bit I don't get, why Arundal to SR when we have at least three actual SR players available. Arundal is a centre he's never played SR at the top level has he?

Maybe it's me and I'm missing something but for someone who thought Anakin to centre was a daft idea why do you do exactly the same in reverse!
