Rabbit in the headlights against Salford, knock on when should have scored. A couple of handling errors tonight. I’m not knocking the guy, everyone makes errors, he’s come back off a long injury, looks like a solid unit and will probably be good for us. Horo is the concerning one.

That's how I saw it. Almost trying to prove a point. We played well, and would have been comfortable if it wasn't for penalties.

Great to see Ryan Hampshire showing the potential he's always had but never seemed to produce. Perhaps it's about having a coach who believes in him.

Who's being looked at for gouging on Garcia? Horo? He was in and around that tackle.

Horo had a real Horror that's for sure. Other than that I think the rest can hold their heads up. Hampshire was an ideal sub to have on the bench. I'm sure watching a re run will be a lot more enjoyable than the live event.

A minute or so earlier Horo had taken a belt around the head, stayed down or at least was really slow to play the ball, but got nothing from the ref, dunno who it was, probably Bird if I had to wild guess, but it was worth staying down for.
Soon after was the tackle on Garcia, which on the replay didn't look like much but he stayed down and made a bit of a fuss.
I imagine Horo was a little frustrated and ended up being on the end of a penalty for the Garcia thing, so...yeah, he needs a bit of coaching on control cos these things are gonna happen and we don't want him blowing a gasket and seeing cards....shades of catalan.
I don't think there was anything in the Garcia tackle, Horo made it look worse than it actually was and Garcia made a meal of it but it ain't gonna take a lot more to end up in the dugout for 10, or worse.

Excellent performance considering Catalans brought their A game and we played almost all game without a recognised number 9.

Apart from that, I dunno, there's definitely a lot to be positive about, I think I'm coming around to the idea that we know how to give ourselves a chance in tight games this season which we didn't previously.
The reason the games are tight in the first place is another thing altogether, I kinda feel like the first team we come up against to put a decent 80 mins together, is gonna beat us, but...well, that's 3 from 3 with 2 tight ones, maybe that's the way its gonna be for a few games yet..
