At what point exactly have I ever said Wigan are in for him. It's not starting rumours as I have never stated it's happening I was merely stating I wouldn't be surprised if they try. It's an opinion like I have stated before. That's what forums are for.

It's a strangely Wakefield mentality imho and that's my issue.

I've looked at most other forums and not one fan of any of those clubs has even remotely speculated that due to Wigan's misfortune they may lose a star player. Nor like one poster on here suggests do they try and justify the paranoia by dragging up players lost to Wigan in the past!

I mean for heavens sake how big an inferiority complex can you get. We really need to move on, MC has rewarded us with re-signing virtually every decent player we have on long term deals, what more can he do.

I think we owe it to the club as an act of faith to not carry on with what is really unfounded and pointless speculation that also despite what the same poster suggested does de- stabilise players.

Why do people think that if the club chairman reads these forums the players don't. Worse still I know for certain agents and journalists certainly do. It may be small scale I know but as the old adage says, if you say something often enough people will start to believe it so why bother.

If you really do think that this thread is going to de-stabilise the club then we're clearly not in the great position we all thought we were. And if there's any players whose performance is effected by it then they either need to man up or stop reading. Imagine if you went to your boss and said you couldn't perform as well this week because of something a customer had asked online?

We might as well do away with the Predictions League as well. Imagine how devastated the players would be if they found out that some fans had backed against them every now and then.
