You can get plenty of apps that will play whatever is on your phone or Ipad on to your TV. Do it that way.

Bought it yesterday out of the desire to see Pauli Pauli. Just trying to see whether I can work out how to avoid scores on the website for those games I can't get to, and watch it not knowing the outcome.

I have a Chromecast but cannot see how to get it to play from my iPad on to my TV through the Chromecast.

Don't you just put the Chromecast app on to your Ipad?

I use a laptop, do not think Apple support Android mirroring, they want you to buy Apple TV. It is only supported in certain Apps like Youtube and Netflix. Video & TV Cast | Chromecast from App store is supposed to do it, never used it myself so cannot vouch for it.

You need to cast your screen from a Chrome browser, how that integrates or doesn't with apple stuffs, I'm content to say I've no idea.
If your tv is already set up to cast from a mobile device, you just need the stream to play through the Chrome browser on it, to cast it.
click "cast", select from the drop down menu "desktop", then select the device you want to cast to if you have more than one ie...living room TV.
That's it.

If you're on Android, all you need is your phone/tablet and TV - then literally press a button and it works. No extra peripherals, no apps or any of that nonsense....just saying
