Let's be right when the Cas forum had a few posters before they moved to the echo chamber, there was plenty that used to dish it out on here, so spare me the Cas forum was destroyed by one man bull. Frankly, it's just cringe-worthy to suggest that.
It's already been said, but the Cas forum was dying years ago, when posters moved over to the Nutjob forum, so they could slag all the clubs (Trinity) they wanted off in peace. Similarly to how Saints board has gradually died since they started their own forum, plus the rise of Facebook as an alternative at all Clubs.

If people are so put out by him, why don't they use the report button, if he's really broken any rules? Otherwise, we're moving into serious snowflake territory.

I remember when this was the alternative forum to the official one run by the club. It used to be refreshing to discuss things in support of the club or in criticism of it without fear of being rounded upon, ridiculed or threatened. I’ve got to say it’s increasingly looking as though the only opinions allowed are those that sing a party line and offer no trace of criticism for the club and those who run it, justified or not.

When that happens, if it hasn’t happened already, it’s no longer fit for purpose as a forum.
Shame.

You're absolutely right, just because you dint tow the party line and get criticised doesn't make it a closed shop, those that think that people are getting shot down for not being in "the clique" are not putting their point of view across because they see Andy easier conclusion.
Opinions are like bum holes, we've all got one but we often get offended by others showing us theirs.
I ran a biking forum from 2005-2011, Facebook and twitter killed it in much the same way this forum is being effected (rugby league is at least 6 years behind in Moreno ways than one) the exact same things are being said on here that were said on my forum back then. It's not the case, people find other ways to express themselves and see that as the way forward, it's called moving with the times, something that RL seems to struggle with at times. If an opinion is stated then either counter it with another opinion (not slag the poster) or accept it for what it is, purely an opinion

As for the underlined bit, you must be seeing something I'm not, or I'm not looking for it. Imo Plenty of people have had different opinions on players and the Club and I see no kind of group think going on, just different personalities and differing opinions. I see the odd person that offer nothing but unjustified finger pointing at the club of late, especially where the ground is concerned and as a forum people have a right to call them up on said opinion. I've also never seen anyone threatened ever on here, as far as I know, they'd be straight banned.
