Would like to think that if we don't win on Thursday that, as true rugby league fans, we show due respect to Castleford and applaud their achievement when presented with the shield, they have after all been the best and most consistent side all year . Oh and then make sure we refocus,secure 4th and take their place in the Grand Final.

I agree with the respect part both ways.
If we lose and they present the shield I'll stay to watch and have a bit of a sing.
If we win I'd expect Sky to give us credit for doing it and not say Cas were off their game.

When picking up my tickets from the Ridings shop was told that there were plenty left.

Don't think Wakefield fans realise that it is highly unlikely that there will be any walk up tickets/admission on the night. Guess Cas will want our unsolds back by Thursday morning?

Thursday night + Televised

Last three visits to the jungle and I've had beer thrown over me, my son pushed over down the terrace steps, and bottles thrown at my group of friends from the pub over the road, all done by Cas fans. It's the least friendly ground in the whole of RL and I personally have no intention of ever going back there again

It's a shame you've had such a bad experience that it's put you off ever returning. If you were to beat us Thursday if I were a wakey fan I would hate to miss out on such occasions. I've had bad times at Hull KR and Headingley , assaulted, but not tarnished the whole lot and just took it as isolated incidents. I wouldn't say it is the friendliest places to watch rugby but it's one of the best, especially if your team is winning, something the tv and armchair can't replicate.

It shouldn't happen at any stadium but some idiots (won't call them fans) will always want to cause problems no matter which stadium or club they're from.

I could very easily reply that I've had beer thrown over me, been called out by a group of idiots and had my car window damaged while visiting Wakey - does it stop me from returning? No because the other 99.9% of fans are perfectly fine, happy to talk to you no matter what jersey you're wearing and generally have a good time.
