It has taken time for him to settle, but for me since about the halfway point of the weekly rounds, I have seen enough to warrant a contract extension.

Would like to see him do a bit more of the kicking on the last as I think he is better at this then Finny, but Finny is the better goalkicker.

It does though seem to have gone quiet over him staying, and the longer it is, probably the less likely he will stay. With this in mind, plus the fact that I think we need to start looking at Finnys successor, I think of the right half back came along, within budget, there would be nothing wrong in taking an interest

I think comparing Finn and Williams is a bit of a red herring. At the moment Finn is better in almost every way imho. However if you look at finnwhen he was Williams age then you have a more interesting comparison. I'd say Williams is better than Finn was at that age. So long term Williams looks a good bet.

Watched the game back on TrinityTV with TC and cameraman Andy Davies, Williams try from the scrum was a throw back. Good old fashioned running stand off try.

Williams played his bed game for club , admittedly behind a pack that was dominating throughout . TBH he owed us one , decent defensive performance and odd cut out pass does not make a scrum half or stand off imo. Havibg said that as millers fit cc now has a dilemma drop Williams or annikin from last weeks team ?
