Quote TrinFanX="TrinFanX"Often, when a coach criticises in this manner, it is directly linked to a disparity between training and the match itself.
You have a real eye for how a training session went. Did you hit your push points? Was the energy there? Did everyone understand their role in the game plan? If all those things are in place and you've game planned to your sqad's fitness and skill levels, then you've every reason to wonder what happened.
A frustrated coach usually leads to a very in depth and awkward video session.'"
Well we've all heard loads of times coaches say, we didn't play how we trained all week etc, problem with that is, in training there's no opposition in front of you! In a match situation, also there are loads of unforeseen imponderables, the weather could change, you can't legislate for blatant official errors, your star player could break his leg after 5 minutes, etc, etc.....point i'm trying to make is, I've noticed before Chester doesn't pull any punches sometimes, he's used the word dishonest more than once, and I just find it interesting no-one ever seems to comment on his after match words.
