Pluses lately; we are undoubtedly a much better side with a lot of excitinfg players and match winners. I can at least turn up with an expectation of something competitive and exciting to watch; too blummin exciting as every game bar one or two has gone to the wire (no pun intended)! Negative...keeping on with the match costing daftness in the errors and pens. True coach and fan killers. I just wish the lads could sit down, look at the videos and get the damn message imprinted on the memory so the bell in the head goes off when they are fatigued and the critical moment comes!'"
I agree in terms of where our area for improvement is.
The question is whether you work on cutting the errors in fatigued situations or whether you try to not get in to the fatigued situations.
Clearly some of both is needed, but equally they are self creating.
The more mistakes you make, the more fatigued you are tackling more than your share, the more fatigued the more mistakes.
That for me is why it seems to be perfect or really bad.
For what it is worth I think this season shows we have improved massively in both. The very fact we are frustrated at losing close games shows we are now close enough for those mistakes to matter. In previous seasons we were already out of site of the other team when we made mistakes.
I'm enjoying this season.
