Going to be tough to get anything from Warrington game on Saturday. Ashurst and Algood will be missing plus I suspect Hadley as well

He's not been the same since he lost his paper round job, I've told him it's only a job but he's so bitter now a days, anyway he'll not bother you no more tonight his uncle Alf's come home from't pub in a bad mood and taken his phone off him.

The players and coaching staff were confident of top 6 and there are were a lot of talk following Widnes win that we could make top 6.

The mention of Grix in attack baffles me. He links up well and looks the most creative in the side at the moment with Finn.

Come Saturday Warrington could be behind us by 1 after being 7 adrift before Easter

Top six is still achievable, we're not too far behind and if we can start to pick up wins again and other results go in our favour we could find ourselves in the top 6, were on track to finish on around 22-24 points after 23rds so I'm happy with where we are. I like Grix, but he does favour the right hand side and leaves the left a bit neglected

That's kinda what happens when you lose 3 games in 8 days

I'd prefer it if they'd space the same losses out across the season more evenly but, we'd just get some dingbat whinging about how inconsistent we are.
At least this way, assuming we go on and win a few on the bounce, we get a rest from the doom mongers for a week or two.

Now that made me chuckle.

Just watched it back.
We tackled Wigan out for 4 repeat sets at one stage. We were well capable of stopping them.
Unfortunately we made errors with ball in hand. On the whole it was us rather than the ref but the Huby knock on was a key one.
The ball was knocked down by Wigan anyway, it went backwards even if he did drop it and the whole Wigan line was a step in front of the line so should have been a penalty which would have brought it level and changed the focus of the play. The cross field camera angle clearly shows it.
It's a pity but it is what it is.

Another game we could of/should of put to bed, especially with the amount of possession we had in that 2nd half. But a few poor decisions and silly errors cost us the game. Can't fault the effort from the lads and the defense on the whole was pretty good, just that little bit of cutting edge in their 20 was lacking at crucial times. Yes the ref was garbage and you'd hope the poor calls even themselves up by the end but tbh we should have made him irrelevant ateotd.

On the whole though, yes we have lost 2 back to back, but it's hardly the end of the world or even close to it. We've had imo one of the hardest Easter periods of any team & lost to probably the 2 best teams in the League, so onwards and upwards. Still plenty of games left and points to claim. Hopefully the injury situation isn't too bad & we'll put something together against Wire and get back on the horse.

Some defo winnable games there imo, especially after Wire away. If Injuries aren't too bad, I'd like to think we're well capable of winning 4 of those tbh.
