| Personally I would play England against Wigan when the squad will need rotating anyway.

| Quote Shifty Cat="Shifty Cat"Yeah I mentioned elsewhere that picking England would be a risk, just down to the fact he's played only in 3 games this year and that was after a long lay off at the end of last season. Tbh he ddn't look in the form he was last season before his recent injury either imo.'"
It comes down to whether he offers more than Keegan Hirst for the Cas game.
I think Hirst offers some different options in offence but, if we want to batter the Cas forwards, England has just a bit more umph.
Stopping Gale is the key to success and getting in his face early doors and cutting down his time is critical.

| Should be no changes for me, Hirst has done well since he came in and we have won all 3 games he's played. Injuries aside it should be a case of it's your place to lose and he deserves to keep his spot. England will likely get his chance on Monday when there are bound to be a few knocks from having such a short turnaround, it will be up to him to prove then that he deserves his place.

I'm not saying that you're wrong but, if we keep playing the same 17 players every week, they will all get knackered, possibly at the same time.
A clever coach will convince one or two players that it is in their own interests to take a break as there are "more important games to come" and keep the squad fresh.
Having said that, it's not easy and if he (the coach) gets it wrong, it can upset the players, leading to a drop in form.
It's the ability to mange the players that separates a good coach from a great coach.

Not injured, but at the moment we have 3 2nd rowers who are better than him at the minute in Ashurst, Kirmo and Hadley.
He is only young and will become a top player but no matter how good he is a 17/18 year old forward shouldn't be playing week in week out, I will be happy if he plays in 6/7 games this season and I think one of those will probably be on Monday against Wigan depending on hoe players pull through after tomorrow's game.

Jeez, I thought he was 20/21ish.
What's he been eating!?
Well, with that in mind, right enough. I wouldn't want a lad like that on dual registration in league one like jowett though. For they experience they get (or, lack of) they may as well not risk injury and just stick with Wakefield day to day.
That's another story though, I guess.
Hope Wakefield retain bachelor for as long as possible and really invest in him..... Unless he moves to glasshoughton or something

| Three games in 8 days, all on TV, boy do we need some luck with injuries and fitness! Cas, Wigan and Warrington who wrote the fixture list? If we win 2 out of three I would be over the moon , we can only hope

He's 19 and he played in same junior team as my middle lad for 7 years and as I coached him at U10's I obviously take full credit for his progression
