We are all aware of the long and proud history of Belle Vue but... I was wondering if there are any actual parts of the the building that date back to its very first days.
The railings in front of the North Stand look like 'old fellas'.
Very first days might be difficult as there won't be many pictures and I think the ground went through some upgrades in the 60s.
But I'd a agree that the railings are on every photo I've seen.
I'd say that the wall behind the West and North stand is original including the ticket booths and toilets in the north stand. The concrete terraces are probably partly original but have been patched up repeatedly over the past 100+ years. The wall and railings around the pitch are also likely original, as is the substructure of the pitch itself
