I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I think he's been a great servent to Wakefield. 30+ years of service and nearly 20 of them as leader.
I think he should be honoured in some way. I'll be writing to Theresa May and requesting she puts his name forward for a knighthood and I was also thinking a statue would be a fitting tribe to this fine man. Who's with me in this?
Let's do something for one of the great sons of Wakefield... Yes he prefers to give his support to the biggest and best supported club in the Wakefield district, but let's put club loyalties aside and do the right thing.
