Numbers mean squat, in 2012 Ellis was 9, wood was 7 and Tim Smith 20 but Wood played Hooker and Smith played scrum half and Ellis barely played.

Some players choose their squad numbers - maybe he was asked and said 'I'll stick with last years number, it served me well' - comfort, superstition, lack of ego ... its the ones who demand a specific number that worry me, they're not team players.

It'll definitely be Grix. Don't even think CC played BJB at full back in a single game last year so hopefully he gets 2 and Johnstone 5 because I'm OCD and Johnstone wearing 2 on the left wing last year annoyed me.

First game of the year BJB was full back I think. Johnstone tried to offload to him on our own line. Don't think he played many more matches at FB, if any.
