People have different views, it's a forum where people share them for heavens sake and I'm sure people will make up their own minds.
As for JD he gave his all for our great club on the field and was a real ambassador off it, you couldn't really ask anymore of any player and I will always remember him with with a great deal of respect. Players who let down the club with their off field antics are soon forgotten, the good guys certainly aren't.

By the way, Trinity Heritage have been posting a few "days of Christmas facts". JD appears a lot.
He is Captain of the Wakefield Super League Dream Team voted by the fans, playing at centre and was the third highest in number of votes for individual players with only Solomona and Domic above him.
and in the appearances list he is the third highest super league player with 187 games, only Jamie Field and David March are above him
and is third highest in all overseas players that have ever played at Wakefield with only Dennis Booker and Gert Coetzer with more appearances.
I'm leaning more in your side Vasty I completely agree regarding the overuse of these words. He was a good player and a great leader of men when it mattered with the heart of a lion. I would describe him as a great club servant.
