Hope you're right.
Huby, although not prolific last season, would be a decent signing.

| Huby would be a massive signing in more ways than one.
Being serious, his last few seasons at Cas before his move to Hudds he was one of the most destructive forwards in SL. If he can shed the timber he's put on, there's no doubt he can reach that form again.
But I doubt it'll happen. Hudds have let go so many players and have signed a only a few so far.

You know something I don't totally buy that conditioner stuff. Over the last few years I think we have just signed soft or past it players (especially in the pack) and no amount of conditioning will give you heart. Fitness is as much mental as anything and that willingness and desire to go beyond what your opponent will has been missing in some. Clarkson may not be cutting edge but he's not to blame for them running and tackling soft especially as some only do 15 minutes a half.
Nigel Bells lack of "conditioning" was legendary even in the 1980's but he'd go for 80 minutes and I reckon he'd still do it today if you could bring him from the past. I do accept things have changed since then and fitness training as it used to be called is more important and scientific as the game is definitely faster but the fundamental of "ticker" remains exactly the same. This was demonstrated by the Aussies one or two of whom (Sam Thaiday) were absolute porkers compared to the ripped Burgess twins.

| I'd be very happy with Ferguson and I'd probably have him in the side over Kirmond if I'm honest. Allgood and Huby would both be good signings if true. I think I'd prefer to get just one of them though and getting another hooker to replace Moore should be our top priority.

Plus, one of the "features" of our game for the past few seasons has been poor ball control, whihci, given all the extra defending we've had, any team would look knackered.

| In todays "Daily Mail" of the Rugby League scene, League Weekly, Ferguson is definitely going back to Huddersfield. Shame if true.
