| But who in their right mind is going to shell out on merchandise that'll be out of date in a month?
I know I wouldn't. Get real lads.
Is it a prerequisite on here to whinge incessantly if you're a Trinity supporter?

I was about to say wouldn't people complain if after the rebrand we still had the Wildcat merchandise on stock!

| This isn't whingeing. I'd call it just business sense.
I would bet that other clubs have a much more seamless transition with merchandise and kit at the end of every season that means there are no periods of the preseason left stagnant in terms of sales - sell off all old stock nice and cheap while selling lots of new gear to all those coming in for season tickets. All of this means people walking around the city and drinking in their local pubs etc showing off their new tops and subliminally luring others into the shop/club to see what they can have !!!!!
Apart from that, at the moment those poor shop assisstants must do very little during the day - a human resource poorly utilised.
I wonder if there is a business plan.
By the way, I love the new badge and hope the shirt is a goodun.

Although I get what you're saying. Other Clubs though aren't going through a complete rebrand. Which will effect the shop massively, as well as an updated website that needs developing. If there's nothing in the shop, it's because we've sold everything with the Wildcats badge on it and what would be the point of re-ordering stuff you won't sell, especially as we've changed suppliers to ISC as well.

| Went in for my season ticket and before I parted with my money, asked if you still got the 'freebie' bag?
When the answer was yes, I handed my coin over and indulged in my car sticker, pin badge, key ring, £5 off a shirt voucher, in a drawstring bag! Sweet!

I guess that means that Season Tickets aren't going as well as hoped then? I'm sure they said they'd only be for the first 1000 members

Wouldn't matter if the club gave away a free shirt, some people would still make excuses not to support the club.
Looks to me like CC is doing the best he can with what he's got and let's not forget he's a Wakey lad and has the best interests of the club at heart.

People will always find an excuse, quite often I can sympathise and understand why they made the excuse. All we can hope for is that enough people get season tickets to pay for what the club planned. Then we can only rely on Chester getting the best from the boys. Hopefully some consistency will start to bring back some of the stay away fans

People wouldn't buy into the club because of the 'Wildcats' tag.
People wouldn't buy into the club because of the uncertainty over the ground.
The club has done as much as they can on both subjects but some fans still expect the club to spend beyond their means to get the easy come, easy go 'loyal' fans through the turnstiles.
If people expect CC to assemble a top 4 side with the money he has and fans will only buy into this when it happens, then we are forever going to have a catch 22 situation.
It took Cas to sell Clarke and a wise investment in players by Powell to start the ball rolling for them.
We don't need to sell our assets and the signings that CC has made are pretty shrewd.
