Accident happened Friday, late afternoon, also start of Bank Holiday weekend. Friday around that time is [even without it been a Bank Hol. statistically one of the worst times for traffic accidents along with Monday mornings.

They were only training in the morning on friday so they'd have been done long before that. There is a worrying rumour going round regarding the cause which i hope isn't true. Apparently in league weekly tomorrow it says Kirmond has a broken leg Annakin is in a bad way and Owen, who was the driver, bad arm injury. Hasten to add i don't know how accurate it is but thats whats being reported by all accounts. |

I've just read the report in League Weekly and sincerely hope they are wrong in their documenting of the injuries incurred. Whilst not 'life threatening' they could be 'career threatening' for all three lads.
Like I say, I hope they're wrong. |

I've been away for the weekend and today, but I've been getting a few garbled text messages from people that have the "potential" to know things, and the gist of it is that 2 players may not play again such is the seriousness of their injuries.
I was reading them through the bottom of a beer glass though, doubtless they were being written through one as well, so hopefully its a load of tosh.
It does seem like the whole thing is being played down though.....so I dunno

Would be a real shame if that's the case. Hopefully it's just speculation. |
