Unfortunately he did not do his homework before he went to Salford. He expected instant success with big crowds. He got neither and I doubt the crowds would have been big enough, even if they had some success.
I don't care how much brass he's got, he's a pillock, and would leave Salford in a worse position than he found them - on top of crap crowds, an awful ground and a team full of mercenaries, he's also made them a laughing stock at best and deeply disliked at worst.
Shame - with all that money and his supposed business acumen, he could have been a real force for good in RL; instead, he's been divisive, abrasive and arrogant.
