This is so exciting I cannot remember such a composed young lad absolutely outstanding. Experience is the most over used word in the English dictionary when.it comes to Sport. For.me.if your good enough your old enough whatever the age. Jowett is a golden egg. Saw him at Hull last year did not put a foot wrong the lad is outstanding.'"
I think that you are being a little unfair on Webster and off the chart on Agar.
Under Agar, Jowitt would have been approaching 17 years old and nobody of that age is ready or capable of week in week out SL rugby, they would be broken inside 18 months.
Even under Webster, I don't think he would have been ready.
That said, under the guidance of Smith and then getting his chance under Chester, the lad has progressed superbly, in a very short space of time and he's made the FB spot his own and it is the emergence of Jowitt and Johnstone that has really given the club and the team, that bit of extra spark.
Life will get harder for them as opposition teams start to target them and this will give their team mates more time and space .
These are great times to be a Trinity supporter, no need to rake over the past. It's time to look forward and for a change, with plenty of optimism.
