| All this ugly affair is doing our club no good at all, we have enough problems already but it does raise questions.
Is an accountant the best person to run a SL club?
What does BS know that made him say enough is enough? If he didn't care wouldn't he just continue to see his contract out and keep taking he money?
Why have our last three coaches quit? Agar said he was fed up with lack of resources, Webster said we needed an experienced coach to take Wakey forward, Smith walked out after a Frosty relationship!
MC has done a great job at balancing the books and keeping Wakey alive but does he have what it takes to be competive, does he have any ambition or was he simply balancing the books, paying off the debts and getting some of his money back? His he really working for free? If so why?
At the end of the day it's his club and he can do what he wishes, I just don't see any way our once great club will survive in SL with MC and it seems his last three head coaches agree we need help.

| With regards to why our last three coaches have quit, id say two of them were pushed because they weren't very good, and the third well lacked the bottle. When you come to a club like Wakey you come to it with your wide eyes open and see it for what is - poor facilities and a lack of money. If you come to Wakey wanting financial backing (Smith got that but wasted it) and then complain that you don't have enough money, then you should've bloody well thought about what club you were joining! I have been a huge critic of Carter but come on, Agar and Webster deserved to be sacked or pushed to quitting because they were crap.

| It's a bl**dy mess I know that - who's at fault I no longer care.
Last week I hadthe pleasure of chatting to Mopsey who like most of us on here is far more reasonable in the flesh so to speak.
He said two things that stuck in my head and remember this was before Smith left.
He said he's sick of turning up for matches without hope - how true is that.
He also said that if Trinity were a dog they would have put it down by now (or something very similar) - again you have to wonder.
For me it's not just on the field, in some ways we have had a better time of it than say Widnes or Salford for example (in recent times). But when you ad on the endless cost cutting, selling of even the most average of players, the financial scandals, the endless ground scenario and the now unforgiveable state BV is in then you realise how badly as fans we have been treated. Salford and Widnes have been crap for years however both are at last starting to flourish and the great hope their fans have is that with a bit of nous and a bit of luck they might taste some sucess.
Anybody think we ever will?
I hope not to die young but at 53 I can't see it happening in my lifetime. What I can see is me outliving the club.

| Media and Commercial are covered at the club by two seperate individuals who both work extremely hard and have a good measure of success.
The only position open to Craig Poskitt would be Chief Executive but I think that's Chris Breretons role.

| Quote The Avenger="The Avenger"Come on then spill the beans!!
On what issues has Mick Carter been [i"economical with the truth"[/i?
When you've named the issues, can you fill us all in with the full facts, the ones that Mick Carter Omitted!'"
Sometimes he has to hold thing back to ensure that the dirty washing behind the scenes isn't aired in public, so i'm not bagging him for that. But people who have worked there see the goings on and things are not always as they seem to the outside world. Some people take everything that comes from the club as gospel but that can be dangerous as it can mask some issues. Brian Smith has gone about his departure in very much the wrong way but at the bottom of it is his concern that there are some deeper problems at the club than people would like to admit. Smith though needs to come out with specifics or stop posting stuff on facebook about it as without doing that nothing will ever bring about the change he obviously feels is needed.

Interesting, I am exactly that age too so we must have shared the same painful experiences over the years. What part of the Merrie City were you dragged up in?

| I could be way off the mark here but listening to Yorkshire radio today the wakey fan Richard said about tomorrow nights show should be interesting with what will go on tomorrow afternoon so whether it involves Wakey we will have to see.

But according to MC at the time both Agar and Webster both decided to quit, he was prepared to back them and was upset when James quit. Don't get me wrong like every other fan I was happy to see the back of them. Not that we have done much better.......
