Heard a few interesting things from a few people recently regarding BS. Heard he wanted to invest in the club himself and was given short shrift. I think this fits with the almost bitter edge to his comments in my opinion. Also heard MC hasn't quite been as truthful as everyone thinks about how long he has been involved at the club!!

Good coach or not Smith's gone now, he gave up the right to voice his opinion as far as I'm concerned when when he walked out on us last week leaving us in the brown stuff having spent all our money on players what are perceived not good enough, and now he's decided to cause some mischief from afar under the guise of being worried for the club and it's fans, if that's the case why doesn't he just go back home and retire gracefully instead of causing no end of embarrassment for Carter the club and those fans he talks so lovingly about.

Getting drunk and rambling on Facebook is not a very dignified way for him to end his tenure - and that's on top of walking out at a crucial part of the season having been unable to improve the on-field performances.

I had respect for BS and was pleased when we retained him - but I've lost that respect - he's handling himself like a rank amateur.

Brian Smith should say what he means or shut up! Ask the right questions? What's the point? If he has real concerns and cares about the people left behind say what you mean Brian! What has he got to lose? If not stay quiet and get on with your life back in Australia!

You and I don't normally see eye to eye but agree with you 100%. All his comments have done nothing but cause more worry and unrest, and has the potential to cause further irrepabke damage. Why doesn't he either tell the entire truth ( or from his perspective anyway) or better yet why doesn't keep his bitter trap shut

Well for me if you are going to say anything then bloody man up and say what you mean or is troubling you if not shut up lets face it One of our fans took MC up on his offer to go into the club and see for himself what is going on at the club. If anything was seriously wrong would you think for a moment MC would make that offer and do you think the said fan would keep quiet after no I thought not. Brian Smith I challenge you to be a man and do one or the other - put up or shut up

If he's that concerned and worried about the club why did he eff off and leave us in an even worse situation?

MC has been quite economical with the truth over a few issues at times but it's his club to run as he see's fit so thats his choice. Sadly due to a lack of people queuing at the door it seems we are stuck with him and as such this club will never move forward and will wollow in the lower reaches of superleague until the day finally comes and the luck runs out and it drops to the championship.
