Just because a player has played in another position doesnt mean he played well in that position. Quite frankly whilst Howarth is an okayish backup 9 he'd be disaster in the halfs - as would Scott Moore.
Craig Hall would be my back up at half back, as he always played well there for Rovers.

As far as Hall goes I am prepared to wipe the slate clean. I think he owes us big time. We paid his wages for nothing last season so hopefully BS can get him to raise his game.

If we can get Moore playing anything like his form during his 1st stint at Shudds he'd be a great signing. Anyways I think we,ve got the better of the deal regarding him and McShane.
