I think BS and MC have a long pre season planned, at the moment Stu Dickens isn't getting any time off, he's making all the preps and helping finalise the signings for the season. Some players are already back in the gym, they are going to some effort to try make big changes for the better, which they should be!
None of this guarantees top 8, but I don't think 'top 8 no chance' is a valid title. If Agar could get a team full of cast offs on a big turn around into the top 8 then why not Brian smith?
In my opinion it's all about being competitive more than getting in the top 8, if we can be competitive as Hull KR were last season then beating the Championship clubs shouldn't be out of our reach. Although I'd much rather not be in that position.

it just shows what the pundits know. it will be interesting to see what they think for Super League 2016. i think it will be a lot tighter competition and may throw up one or two surprise's. 2 of last seasons top 8 finishers may be battling it out in the mid eights at the end of the season.
