Let's hope that if BS does decide to go, it doesn't drag, on leaving us with a short time to get a decent replacement and assemble a competitive side

In a post match interview yesterday he said he had assisted the club in making signings for next year to put us in s better position.

Sounds to me then that BS is going. I would have thought that an incoming coach would want to sign his own players

Unless a complete new club starting from scratch, that is impossible. There is always some form of team in place when a new coach arrived.

As a matter of interest can anyone say who we have actually got signed

I hope they now realise you can't do sport on the cheap because none of us want to go through a season like the last one or another play off scenario like this one. The majority of SL clubs have strengthened and we must do so or be cast adrift again.

If Brian Smith isn't staying who would he recommend? JD?

In all fairness to SC though, lets face it we managed to scrape a win yesterday and hang on to stay SL. Lets not take anything away from the win and the effort the players put in. However in the next week or so we have got to realise the huge task for next season.
The gulf between us and the likes of HKR/Salford/Cas/Widnes etc is huge. As far as Leeds, Wigan etc, they are light years away.

My heart and mind won't be able to stand another repeat next year.

I hope he stays. He has a reputation for sorting out a club and will attract good players. Structures could be put in pace which will serve the club well for years to come.

well here's one for you how would you feel if Daryl Powell could be enticed across from the common,
I have it on good authority that with Justin doing the dirty on one of his team mates it hasn't gone down well with the coach, rumours of him moving on isn't true and he will return to play again for Cas, not an easy situation in their camp

so IF Brian is moving on would Daryl like a position here

I head carney all be playing for a Lancashire team next season on loan from cas. Can't see Powell leaving cas
