I'd be very surprised if Rodney Walker was 'getting anything' out of any dealings other than getting a new ground for his club! He's Wakefield Trinity through and through and I would assume already a wealthy man without gaining from any ground deals!

Are we doing anything to attract investors?

There are wealthy Wakefield businessmen out there, 3 I could name who are worth £100 Million, I'm sure there are others.

Just because they've never approached the club doesn't mean that they wouldn't be interested if they themselves were contacted. Sometimes it's about it being the right time for someone and even they might not know they're interested until someone makes them think about it!

Apparently four mystery backers are itching to invest, they're just waiting the wings until <insert name here> leaves the club.

Joking aside Carter has said enough times that if anyone wants to take on the mantle he would gladly sell the club for a quid, I guess the millionaires just aren't that interested in losing money.

But that's not the same is it!

Telling a crowded room of 100 supporters that you'll step aside for a quid is not the same as having an active strategy to seek and cultivate prospective directors or potential new owners.
