Yes of course I would. My point is do you or anyone else criticising him actually know he is fit to play? Also, even if he is fit to play it's surely the coach's call as to inclusion in the squad isn't it?

I cannot really see the club allowing a player who is fully fit refusing to play - isn't that what is being inferred?

He got hooked before half time during the win against Hull FC. It followed him missing 2 tackles that lead directly tries. He hasn't been seen since. I would say this is the role of the coach to say whether he picks someone. That didn't cost us that game and nor should his non selection impact any other of our games! Now back to today...

As someone else pointed out its a mystery as to why we pay the likes of Kirke and Tansey yet we won't spend a quid on other aspects such as marketing.

Listening to the BS interview, it would seem only Kirmond, Locke and Howarth are unavailable for selection. Like Poptart says, you can't just stop paying someone, he is part of the squad and not being selected, which is hardly surprising given his performances when he has played??
