| The Trinity Hall of Fame is something I'm passionate about and this years event takes place next week (Friday 24th July)
Last year the inductees were, possibly, obvious choices ... Ian Brooke, Mick Exley, Neil Fox, Jonathan Parkin, Harold Poynton, David Topliss, Derek Turner & Harry Wilkinson. So far this year we have announced six of the eight inductees with the two remaining being announced on Thursday and next Tuesday. As with last year, the entrants will have played for Yorkshire, England or GB aswell as winning a Challenge Cup or Championship
Herbert Goodfellow ... 1930s, 1940s scrum half
Keith Holliday ... 1950s, 1960s scrum half
AK 'Nealy' Crosland ... 1900s forward
Trevor Skerrett ... 1970s forward
Bill Horton ... 1920s, 1930s forward
Bob Haigh ... 1960s forward
We have tracked down all players and families of the inductees and Trevor Skerrett and Bob Haigh are attending along with the families of Goodfellow, Holliday, Horton and the remaining two entrants. Along with the Neil Fox, Ian Brooke and Harold Poynton there will be five ex-Trinity GB internationals in the room.
Brian Smith, Michael Carter and present day players are also attending and have agreed to present some awards
Woohoo ... a class night for a Trinity historian ... and fan of Trinity's past

| Sounds like a great event. These players were all before my time although I know Harold Poynton to speak to.
From my time of following Wakefield I'd like to think that Nigel Bell will someday make this list even though he didn't get international honours.
