| Hi Cas fan here. Don't know what's been said about JT on here up to now and I'm not going to go through all the posts. Actually he's not a bad lad and has largely played well for us this season. Don't know what NGB4W was saying or coming from, because up until, and including the Magic weekend game he was playing virtually every week at full back and has only been left out in the last 3 games. Also Clare has never been in front of him this season, and he himself is now out on DR at York.
If you watch the video when you beat us first up this season, he got our MOM, quite rightly so, as he had a real good game and took everything thrown at him. He is generally very good under the high ball, is not short of pace, is enthusiastic and is generally sound defensively. His problem is he has momentarily lapses of concentration which can cost you. For instance he can take every high ball going in a game and be sound, before dropping one straightforward one. He has obviously also had some misdemeanours off the field in the past, from what I can make out generally booze related, but he appears to have put all that behind him, although there is always a chance an isolated incident may rear it's head.
Unfortunately he dropped two or three clangers in consecutive games for us, that has had some of our fans on his back, IMO unfairly so. However we won both games so it didn't cost us. Can't comment on the cup game at Hull because I didn't see it, but obviously not many covered themselves in glory there. It did make life hard for us at Solford though.
Personally I think you will be quite happy with him, particularly in the short term. It's the short term now that counts, and I hate saying that as I may come across as patronising which I can assure you I am not. But if he can contribute to help keeping you in SL, which I honestly think he can, that's all that will matter for now.

So now you know better than Brian Smith as to what we need, stunning level of arrogance even for these forums.
Isn't the lad from Saints a prop, or is he one of those midget props you don't like?

When Barrie Mac started out, he was 14 stone and only 5'10".
He didn't do too bad for a 'midget' NGB4C!

You are arrogant as you never ever listen to a argument you have to insult. Im sure there were plenty of interested centres from over seas who Brian knows. Fair enough Tansey for next year but we need quality not the amount for the rest of the year. Lets see how the Sts guy gets on but his stats are not impressive

Usually what happens when the post being answered was nothing more than an insult - read your own stuff.

Salford Red Devils RLFC.

| It wouldn't surprise me if Tansey was being paid the same as Locke. After his resignation at Salford, Kevin was prepared to play for free just to impress enough to get a gig in the NRL next season. It was a very shrewd piece of business by Michael Carter, as he has got a player who 2 years ago was one of the best full-backs in the world for pittance.
Win-win situation for Wakefield, as Kevin will be dying to impress clubs considering offering him a deal for 2016. I just hope he stays fit enough to make a fist of it, I was told weeks ago that he was over the injuries and was near enough 100% and raring to go hence my amazement we then accept his resignation.
