Guys at the moment hes stable in the ICU at Pinders but hes not out of the woods yet. He is still sedated as he took a nasty bang to the head when he went down but luckily his scans seem fine the plan is to keep him under and then try to wake him when his body has had time to heal as hes also carrying a nasty chest infection. I will do a better update when i get on to a laptop but thanks for your kind wishes.

Hell of a read that (with some very good humour may I add) can't imagine how difficult all this has been . hope your dad continues to make a full recovery.

He was moved out of the ICU ward last Thursday and he's now undergoing tests at the cardio ward to try get to the bottom of what actually happened but he's machine free except for a little recording device and he's up and about and finally dressed. He was chuffed when he went into the ward to see a fellow trinity fan in a bed opposite so he had someone to talk to. He didn't fancy the HKR match but he intends to watch the Leigh match all be it with a wife hovering nearby ready to confiscate his I Pad if he starts carrying on too much. So its just a case now of loads of rest now before they decide what to do with him.

Really good to hear that he is improving.
