Quote: Wakey Til I Die "Just back and let nobody think that this was a massively improved performance it wasn't, Leeds won at a canter. They were in cruise control and if they had played well they would have put 70 on us easily. Speaks volumes that they could leave Mcguire on the bench for the majority of the game. There were signs of life in attack, mainly from Lauitiiti, also that Smith looked like he could be bothered today and we didn't put quite as much ball on the floor which helped but the defence is powder puff stuff. They broke us at will first half and then thankfully eased off in the second.'"
We scored 18 points' more against the league leaders at their place than we did against a side that would have been bottom of the league had we beat them last Thursday night, and you said it's not an improved performance. It would be interesting to learn how you play in cruise control though, perhaps had we allowed them to get out of "cruise control" they may have scored 70pts+ but I'm sure they stuck to their game plan to limit their score to 48 while at the same time allowing us to score 4 try's, It's good that leeds could leave such as McGuire on the bench, unfortunately we don't have the luxury of having our best players' on the bench because of injuries' otherwise Anderson Paea Simon Kirke Ashurst, and Annakin could help the other allegedly injury free forwards' help the apparently can't be bothered Smith gain some forward momentum, but at least we can be grateful that they thankfully eased off in the second half, behave yourself
