I too though it looked fuller but Carter is a straight up guy so I can’t see any reason why he would round the crowd down. A few quid could be saved but a 5.3K crowd is ammunition for the many outsiders who don’t want this club be in SL.
The big task for him and his team is what to do to increase it. A performing team will of course help, however its needs more. How much money there is to promote the club in Wakefield I’m not sure, but I’ve said it for many years know you could practically walk round the city and not know there was a game on or that Wakefield Trinity even existed. The key is to bring he club to the potential consumers. The Sainsbury’s bag packing is an ideal example simple without costing much money and has the added bonus of being charitable.
Don't think anyone is after just 2 games mate especially being a Wakey fan but last year with a poorer teamm, we beat Wigan, Warrington and Leeds in the space of just over a month, so it's certainly possible. Cheers..
