I am not a fan of the cartoon cat..it says nothing to me about my town or team.
I think the home and away kits are quite possibly the worst kits we have ever had.
All i have to show for four decades of supporting my team are a defeat at Wembley, Yorkshire Cup win and King Wally playing ten times in a Trinity shirt..oh and beating Whinos at Headingley
Some of the players in our backs i dont believe are good enough.
I am still to be won over by our coach.

But despite all my negativity....

It is my hometown team.
I support my home town team.
I have backed my home town team by purchasing two season tickets.
It appears we have someone running the club who cares and is running it in the right way.
We are predicted to finish bottom by everyone, I have played in rugby teams where we were all just mates who got on and everyone played for everyone else. For all the teams with money and the games stars its hard to beat team spirit.

So back the city, back the club, back the chairman, back the players ....

I agree love our City love our club
I long for the day we get the City badge back and drop the wildcats add on, it doesn't do hull & Wigan any harm going back to tradition and we are the world famous Wakefield Trinity.
Anyway back on topic see you behind the sticks tomorrow to support Wakefield Trinity the club that represents our City.

I agree whole heartedly after the ,but despite my negativity bit but I'm afraid we agree to disagree on the first paragraph .

Hmm I understand the spirit of the message but it's no Churchillian speech.
There is no negative for me.

New season, New start. Bring it on.

I can hear the chains rattling beneath me as the carriage I'm riding in is hauled to the highest peak of the Every Second Counts rollercoaster, Wakefield Trinity's latest and potentially most exciting ride.

If that's you're idea of a rallying cry I beg you not to give up the day job.

Encapsulates all that's wrong with the losing mentality of a large number of our fans but that just my opinion.

Enjoy the season, you'll probably have a veritable feeding frenzy of pain to enjoy come 5 o'clock.
