Standard operating procedure - they make excuses for the favoured clubs whilst totally refusing to acknowledge that others have exactly the same problems, but exacerbated by their smaller squads.

It certainly points out the risk of running with a smaller squad next year. Injuries and suspensions will happen and the smaller but higher paid the squad the likelihood of that percentage situation arising more often increases.

which is all they can do if the people of wakefield are not prepared to support the club by buying season tickets etc
