Sorry to say something about the topic of the thread rather than a fellow poster, but I think that having Walshaw as back up for Collis (and Lynne) may have been a good idea for next year.
Hopefully Collis will have an injury free season and play all year, meaning on average he'll have played half a season in each of the last two!
Definitely a bright prospect for the future, but as has been posted, we don't know the financial dealings behind the scenes and if he wanted too much / Bradford were willing to pay out of our range, then so be it.
If the Board have a plan, after the last year, I'm behind them all the way.

We do not know what goes on behind the scenes but maybe he was not committed to the cause knowing he was going elsewhere. I know some of you blame Kear others Agar but during Webster's reign I can't remember him being selected.
Let's not try to use this as an excuse to cover old ground, if he is a success at Bradford then the coaching team were wrong but only time will tell. I know some of you still lament the loss of Kay and use this as a comparison but I notice he is still in the championship with no reports of interest from any super league club.

That view is stupid using Kay as an example he's on a decent contract with Leigh , also I'm sure he hopes to play super league with them, and as he's contracted a current super league team would have to pay a transfer think those reasons are why super league teams arnt showing interest not the reason your insinuating

He recently signed a new contract does that not mean either he was available to other clubs or possibly just lacks ambition and decided to stay in the championship.

Shame he was never given a real chance to make the grade. Reece Lynne was so bad for so long it was incredible. fair play to Lynne he has seemingly got his act together in the past 3 months but my god he was bad. Why wasn't walshaw given even a fith of the time Lynne had. Walshaw is a super league standard player without doubt all he needs is the chance to prove it,

I thought I read, on here, that Walshaw had personal off-field issue that resulted in his lack of appearances during much of his time with us?
I've willed him to do well every time he has played but lets face it, even though he has the size, he was no Andy Kelly (2nd Row)or Richard Goddard (Centre) at a similar age and instantly they made 1st team appearances.
