I agree with Godinet for MotM but some of Tim's running and passing - timing, speed, directional awareness etc. - was sublime. I worried that Koukash might want to up his price. Chase - who and where was he?

Pity he won't be at The Mend My Hose Stadium next week.

After a couple of errors early, Tautai was pretty unstoppable.

I couldn't get to the game, but the commentators on Radio Manc were up in arms that Salford had let Tim Smith go; they described him on more than one occasion as the best player on the park and suggested that he was slicing Salford to ribbons.

Sykes was excellent today.
Made a couple of try savers on our line in the first half, took the high ball well and kicked a 40/20 (more like a 40/5).

Smith was outstanding and Godinet was lively all game, even Raleigh had a cracking game.

One thing that I noticed yesterday was how when any one made a mistake a team mate was there to help out or tidy up. The grubber behind the line when Sykes lost his footing and that run down the touchline by Evalds being two examples.
