I'm hearing under fairly good authority that Paea has signed for the trin! Which I consider a fantastic signing!

If Paea is to be in the red white and blue next season the club need to be congratulated. Its one hell of a signing and the club should be shouting it from the roof tops after the C C final.

Would be a good replacement for Tautai providing he can keep himself healthy. Averages 20 games a season for catalans which isn't bad but we need to make sure we have enough cover available.

Listed as 6.0 and 16st 7

Granted, a forward has to be a big human, but it's not a requirement to be freakishly big to be good; look at Jarrad Hickey, Eorl Crabtree and Ian Kirke for examples of abnormally tall props, who don't run their weight; compare and contrast with Paul Gallen, Anthony Watmough or Sam Moa - all line busting, hard to handle forwards who come in under 6 foot.

Paea would be a great signing for us - he'll go well alongside FuiFui (exactly six feet tall!)

I'd agree, Stosic was that, if not slightly shorter, but he had sufficient size to more than do the job in attack and defence.
