| Still no update from the club on which set of rules we are playing by! Obviously it's not important to the guys in charge how the fans feel. Didn't realise the club was in a position to lose some hardcore fans and lots of money over this. They must be flush with cash at the moment.

Well I for one don't give a flying one and anyone who get's upset over not being allowed to take a damn picnic into the ground needs a check up from the neck up.
It's not like you can't buy refreshments in the ground (and benefit the club in the process)
Honestly, people will whinge about anything!

It's not really that important to a lot of fans either. I would really like to get the thread on the club shorts highlighted a bit more. I also have one ready to start on the socks.

| It's important to enough fans that some are walking away, which they are entitled to to do so if they feel the need. That tells me that it's something the club needs to address pretty damn quick but sadly customer service doesn't seem high on its list of priorities. When season ticket renewals are down the penny might drop.

They've already made one statement on the (non) issue and at the end of the day anyone who considers this a real problem needs to contact the club (rather than an online supporters group) and obtain clarification on what the policy is privately.

And when the published policy on the website is not been being adhered to as has been the case?
And the ones that have contacted the club but have had no reply or been fobbed off as has been the case?
You might want to pretend it isn't a problem as it doesn't affect you personally but to those it has affected it is an issue and one that has yet to be sorted satisfactorily. The club has already had a number of long standing fans walk away because of the problem and that is something the club can ill-afford. We need more season ticket holders, not less and once they break the habit of going every week then the chances of them coming back gets less and less. This could and should have been handled much better.

I can recognise a problem even if it doesn't affect me. I just think people walking away over a a few teething problems with a new security firm is absurd.
It could have been handled better, but surely this is just a storm in a teacup?
