I know the obvious thing will be to get the dvd to see it all and the little incidents that resulted in the ref getting a lot of abuse. But will there be any highlights available on facebook that will show some of the fights and offside decisions rather than just watching try highlights that SL like to give us which don't tell any story of the game

As a Wigan fan ( who was wanting a Trinity win today may I add) that was the spoiler, the constant crossing calls. Wigan did not cross the ball went behind the man and was caught on his outside shoulder. The man did not go behind the runner whilst he had ball in hand.

I will say the RFL need to clear this up though as it is ruining the game because if the ambiguity of the rules in relation to this.

Didn't see the Gelling incident seemed to be a forward pass by Wigan then all hell broke loose, the touch judge who was right next to it made the call so he was probably best placed to see exactly what went on.

The Smith Ryan incident from where I was stood (North Stand) looked like smith jumping at Ryan's head in a very poor attempted half back on big man tackle. It seemed Ryan then went in at him again being slightly wound up by it, which was fair enough, and the handbags followed. Penalty to Wakefield correct call, doubt anything will come of it further.

I hasten to add though this was my view from the North stand, although this vantage point was ideally for the non obstruction calls despite what the Trinity fans were calling for.

If we are talking about the ref, once again we get a player dumped on his head and a penalty given so seen by the ref but put in report.
That's no good to us.

Can I just say

According to the Radio Manc commentator, Ryan put the big don't argue hand-off on Smith, who didn't like it and came up swinging; he described the hand-off as 'perfectly legal.'

I've said it before and I'll say it again - it feels like open season on Wakey players this year; this is the latest in a long line of violent conduct against our players that has not been dealt with by the official.

I wasn't listening to the Radio I was there. What I saw was Smith jump at Ryan which the ref should have pulled for a high shot. He got swatted off and rightfully so Ryan went back at him as he was not happy. Smith then started swinging out if frustration.

Clearly bad technique to start with from Smith, a bit if niggle from Ryan to say I just took it have it back and then handbags from Smith. Let's not make it more than it was.
